-Marinated Baked Pork Chops

When we get the chance to be at home for dinner, I love to cook!  And I love trying different things.
This week I didn't have time to grocery shop, so I went to the freezer and found pork chops.
This recipe is so easy, and Dave gave it raving reviews.
This makes enough for 2, I like lots of sauce!
If you have the time, it really makes a difference if you can put the sauce together,
and marinate the pork chops for a few hours in the refrigerator.
A gallon size zip lock bag works great for this!
I served this with mashed potatoes and green beans (Dave's favorite side dishes), but this would really be great with rice.
Enjoy!

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

-2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
-4 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil (can use vegetable oil also if you have that in your pantry)
-2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
-4 tablespoons Brown Sugar  (I like lots of brown sugar, so I used heaping tablespoons)
-4 tablespoons Ketchup (I have used Heinz and Hunt's, any brand will do)
-2 thick boneless pork chops, thawed, if previously frozen

Mix the first 5 ingredients together in a mixing bowl, using a whisk.  Pour into a gallon zip lock bag, add the pork chops and marinate for a few hours.  Place pork chops and marinade in a crock pot and cook on high for 3 hours, the internal temperature of the pork chop should be 160° F.  Or if you have the time to cook on low, you can cook longer.  I love cooking in a crock pot.  The longer you cook on low, the better it gets!

Instructions for cooking in the oven
The original recipe that I found says to preheat your oven to 350°, pour half of the sauce in the baking dish, place the pork chops on top of the sauce, cook 30 minutes, turn the pork chops over, pour the other half of the sauce over the pork chops, and cook another 30 minutes.
